If you’re active on social media, you’re probably already aware of this man’s work or you’ve seen his thought-provoking quotes pop up in your timeline. Will Zee Tidwell, better known as “Speak Up Zee” impacts many lives through the power of social media and the series of live events he hosts across the state. He’s been busy working on his “Dream Big, Be Bold, Speak Up” tour but took time out of his hectic schedule to chat with me about his business and current projects. Get to know him!

First and foremost, check out his latest video, titled: "Be Bold Enough to Love Yourself!" Here at Pretty Accomplished, one of our main targets is to embody self love.

Zee says, "Having this quality is so crucial when it comes to accomplishing our dreams and goals."

What does your business consist of?

Zee: Speak Up Zee consists of youth building, public speaking, creative writing, and we also have a non profit sector aimed towards providing for communities, the less fortunate, and children.

All of these components go hand in hand.

What's your mission statement, or your purpose through Speak Up Zee?

Zee: To make people realize through words and deeds that everyone has a story and a purpose despite where they come from, their story is still worth being told. To inspire and motivate with words and actions to show people they have a story, and their story is worth being told to inspire themselves and others

What was the motivating force behind you starting your business?

Zee: The day I realized that through personal poetry, I had a story to tell. My story isn't the best or the prettiest but it is still worthy of being told. Also to inspire people to use their story to ignite/spark their passion to make this world a better place. That's what its all about, doing what you love and that will make the world a better place!

What has been your greatest challenge thus far?

Zee: To practice what I preach and being that person that inspires and motivates, I realize that I am still human and that I need tender, love, and care too. Even the strong get weak, I have to take time to pour into myself to replenish.

What advice would you give other young entrepreneurs

Zee: I would tell them that #1 You're going to fail, but understand that failure is just another chance to go back at it, and its only failure if you give up and stop trying. It may be hard, but it will be worth it. Don’t worry so much about the failures just be thankful for the successes.

What does it mean to you to be accomplished?

Zee: Having a goals and no matter how long it takes to achieve that goal, never stop trying, that’s will power. Despite the distractions, people, and things that doubt you and try to break your spirit. You choose to accomplish your goal anyway, that’s Pretty Accomplished to me!

What's next for you? Do you have any upcoming events?

Zee: It's time to do what we do best: GIVE BACK! We are having our second annual back to school bash on August 12, 2017. We plan to give away a total of 300 free backpacks with school supplies included, as well as provide free haircuts for the young men, make up and pamper sessions for young ladies, and much more all for our future leaders of tomorrow.

Pretty Accomplished will be partnering with Speak Up Zee for this event.
